Die Künstlerin Aslı Özdemir beschäftigt sich in ihren Arbeiten mit intergenerationalen Erfahrungen innerhalb ihrer eigenen Familiengeschichte, die geprägt ist von einem Oszillieren zwischen unterschiedlichen Sprachen und Sphären. Ein vererbter Zustand des Transits, des stetigen Fremdwerdens und Ankommens zugleich.
Des Weiteren ist Sie seit 2016 im Bereich des semiprofessionellen Theaters aktiv. 2021 hat sie ihr selbstgeschriebenes Theaterstück BLAUE
STUNDE. inszeniert.
Die Künstlerin lebt und arbeitet in Offenbach am Main.

In her works, the artist Aslı Özdemir deals with intergenerational experiences within her own family history, which is characterized by an oscillation between different languages and spheres. An inherited state of transit, of constantly becoming a stranger and arriving at the same time.
Furthermore, she has been active in the field of semi-professional theater since 2016. In 2021 she staged her self-written play BLAUE STUNDE.
The artist lives and works in Offenbach am Main.
